Do you struggle with setting the correct protrusion depth when sharpening your wood turning tools?
Whether you use a Tormek, Wolverine, home made or any of the sharpening systems available today the first step in repeatable sharpening is setting the correct protrusion. Both jigs were designed, printed, tested and used by a woodturner for woodturners.
Tormek Style Sharpening System
- Printed using high strength PETG filament
- Hole to securely store the sharpening jig
- Protrusions of 40 mm, 55 mm, 65 mm, 75 mm
- V shaped channel to make sure your tool is sitting flush and perpendicular
- Four holes for securing the jig to a work surface (2 inch screws in the back, 1 inch in the front - not included)
Wolverine, Verigrid, pro grind ect. System
- Printed using high strength PETG filament
- Center slot to securely store the sharpening jig
- Protrusions of 2 inches (most common) and 1.75 inches
- V shaped channel to make sure your tool is sitting flush and perpendicular
- Two holes for securing the jig to a work surface (2 inch screws - not included)
